Welcome to my community of the YOLO belief to live everyday as it will only happen once.

YOLO is an acronym for “you only live once“. Similar to carpe diem or memento mori, it implies that one should enjoy life, even if that entails taking risks.

This site is for people to be inspired to create their own bucket list, act on it, meet up with others with the same desire to stop living in the past and over dwelling on the next moment and focus on the present.

What is a bucket list?

Setting goals working hard with purpose to make them a reality, then enjoying your achievement. Cross it off, then repeat

How Do You Make a Bucket List?

FIRST: Be prepared. Invest in a notepad specifically for this purpose. Having a hard copy of your Bucket List is vital – not only will it help you remember everything you want to accomplish. There are also apps as well that you can use to keep track of your progress.  If keeping a notepad is cumbersome, leave it at home and when an idea strikes you when out and about, save it to your mobile phone to record it in your notepad when you return.

SECOND: Plan out your list. No one ever has a complete pre-made bucket list.  The majority of tasks found on Bucket Lists come from the person seeing something or hearing about it. Collaborate with friends. What most people don’t realize with Bucket Lists is that they are your own personal guideline to self-improvement. Difficult feats such as ‘climb a mountain’, although welcome, are not the only things which feature on a well-planned list; tasks such as ‘Jog a mile each day’ or ‘Pay it forward.” For inspirations or ideas click here.

THIRD: Write your first & second drafts. No time like the present, the sooner you have some sort of list as a guideline, This is the time to be creative and completely let go of your fears and limits.

LASTLY: Start small, you can’t do everything in one day. Check on it and look at it daily for inspiration and ALWAYS be on the lookout for new ideas. YOLO!
